With a mixture of gritty street rhymes and club oriented singles,
Virginia rapper Juan is ready to show the hip-hop world what he's made
of. Born March 9 , in Chesapeake, Virginia, Juan always had a love for
hip hop music ever since he was a little kid running around the house
reciting rhymes he'd heard on the radio and on TV. Quoting T.I. and
Jay-Z as his biggest influences, Juan began rapping at the age of 11
and he also began to record his own songs at the age of 13. Once he hit
middle school, after getting successful responses from his peers while
freestyling and battling, Juan realized that he could take his talent
for rapping from being just a heart felt hobby to a full time career.
After being in and out of high school and then sent to alternative
school for being disruptive, fighting, and skipping class, the aspiring
rapper came to his senses after finally being expelled from HS once and
for all. Soon after, Juan got his GED and began to focus solely on
music. With family members already in the music business, Juan left his
mothers' home and went to stay with his uncle who agreed to take him in
granted he stay out of trouble and continue working on music. Since that
time, Juan has become a household name around his hometown of
Chesapeake and his buzz is starting to spread elsewhere around the state
of Virginia and beyond. Having already done shows in VA and NC, and has
opened up for a plethora of major artist such as JUELZ SANTANA, RON
BROWZ, YUNG LA, DJ UNK, FABOLOUS, etc. as well as getting his song
"HOME OF VA" played on local VA radio station 103 Jamz,With at the age
of 20 now Yung Juan has dropped a well received amount of mixtapes that
been hosted by some big names round VA, such as King Carter (z104) DJ
MAINO STAR/ DJ JUMPOFF (hot 91.1) etc. Yung Juan is getting closer to
reaching his dream and no one is going to stop this young rapper from
becoming the best that hip-hop has to offer.
